I notice that there are bees in a bee hive. I wonder how the person taking the photo isn't being stung. Half of the honey comb is filled with honey and the other half is empty

I think the math is how many holes are filled with honey and how many holes are not filled with honey.

Charlotte and Max wonder how many bees there are. You could count them by looking at the groups. Why is the coloring in the hexagons different? Are some filled with honey?

I noticed that you can find the number of bees that there are in the picture by counting.

I also noticed that the shape in the honeycombs is a hexagon.

You could find the number of honeycombs in the picture by either counting or making a multiplication sentence. The best and easiest way would be to make a multiplication sentence.

I see bees either putting honey in there or eating it. I see the bees filling hexagons. The bees are making a plus sign. I guessed there were 17 bees and counted 18.

The math in the picture is trying to count how many hexagons there are.

I noticed that the bees are covering some of the hexagons.

I wonder if the bees are in the bee hive or on the outside?
